Quarter sawn ash is selected to create the simple flowing lines that follow and accentuate the form of this piece. Through sandblasting the growth lines in the wood become not only visible but also 'touchable', they form a relief on the surface of the object.
This artwork is turned coated with a couple of layers of white ink and finished with a linseed based oil.
