Unique wall object in elm. (no title)
A large black wall object which seems to be made of three rings (but is actually made from a single piece of elm) directed to the void in the centre. The black and oil finish accentuates the grain in this elm in a subtle way.
Last picture with a red mug is to get an idea of scale.

Finished with a black ink, pigment and linseed based oil as well as flat red paint.

Easy to hang, simply on a screw in the wall.
Wood is a wonderful and natural material. It will always change colour over time slightly. Do not place an object in a spot where it will be in direct sunlight, this can result in an unbalanced or too much colour change in the wood. This may not apply to this object because it is completely coloured with black ink.
Can be cleaned with a dry or slightly moist cloth
