Unique wall object in painted ash.
Turned on the lathe. A voluptuous form in which the focus is pulled into the centred void (I'd like to think the focus goes into the unknown. The black on the back makes the shadow in the centre darker and seem like a hole.

Wood is a wonderful and natural material. It will always change colour over time slightly. Do not place an object in a spot where it will be in direct sunlight, this can result in an unbalanced or too much colour change in the wood. This particular piece is completely painted and thus will be less subject to this colour changing proces.
